Super Eagles players were unable to train at the Borg El- Arab Stadium, venue of Tuesday's 2017 Africa Cup qualifying match against Egypt following their late arrival in Alexandria on Monday.

The team was due to have a feel of the turf ahead of the game but the training was cancelled as a result of their late arrival due to the two hours delay they experienced at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Abuja.

The players will now have a light training session within their hotel premises on Tuesday morning.

“We couldn't train on Tuesday as planned due to our late arrival in Alexandria,”

“Our flight was delayed for two hours in Abuja and that affected the entire plan.

“You can imagine us going to training again after close to six-hour flight from Nigeria.”
