Fresh from his dazzling comeback at Manchester United, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed there’s even more reason to celebrate – after announcing his partner Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant with TWINS.
Sharing their joy with a joint post on their Instagram accounts on Thursday, the beaming couple delivered their exciting baby news by holding the double baby scan photos.
Ronaldo has been settling back into life in Manchester with Georgina and their four children after his huge return to Old Trafford was sealed in September.
The Ronaldo family have gone on to settle in a palatial home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire together.
As well as sharing the scan snap of their twins on Wednesday, Ronaldo went on to share an adorable photo of his children Alana, 3, four-year-old twins Eva and Mateo, and eldest son Cristano Jr, 7.
They all excitedly made the symbol for two in their swimming pool to announce the twin baby news.
Captioning the images in the joint post, Cristiano and Georgina said: “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins.
“Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you.”
Cristiano, 36, has been in a relationship with his Spanish-Argentine model girlfriend Georgina, 27, for the past five years and in November 2017 they announced the arrival of baby daughter Alana Martina together.
Portuguese football legend Ronaldo proudly has a photo of Georgina and his children as his profile picture on Instagram, and regularly shares videos and photos of his young family on social media.
Georgina, who grew up in Spain but lived in London for a time when she learnt English, also has an active presence on social media.
She has a huge 27m followers on her Instagram page, although that is still some way behind her boyfriend Ronaldo’s massive 360m followers.
Within minutes of posting their baby news, the post had already racked up 3mn likes with friends and fans swift to send their messages of congratulations.
That included a host of Cristiano’s Reds team-mates like goalkeeper David de Gea and Diogo Dalot who posted well wishes.
