Memphis Depay ‘extremely humbled’ to have third-highest shirt sales in the world

Manchester United winger Memphis Depay admits he is 'extremely humbled' by the news his shirt is the third best-selling in the world, only behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 21-year-old was given the surprising news a fortnight ago when retailers Kitbag revealed the top 10 highest shirt sales to United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
And now Depay has taken to Instagram to give his thoughts, also revealing he plans on doing 'something special' for his fans to celebrate.

He said: 'Extremely humbled by the fact that my jersey is the #3 best selling in the world.
'Going to do something special for all my wonderful fans out there. Stay tuned!'
Depay poses for a picture on the social media site, in which he is smiling at the camera and signing one of his well-sold United No 7 shirts.
