      Twitter was on meltdown when former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was reportedly named the new head coach of Nigeria following the departure of interim Samson Siasia.

      With the news originating from top media outlets in England, it was no surprise that the topic became the hottest trend on Twitter.

      The news, however, was false as it a was prank pulled by the media to mark the popular April Fool's Day.
