If David Haye is looking for a sparring partner ahead of his return to boxing ring, he may have found his man: TV hardman Idris Elba.
Elba is used to roughing up bad guys in crime drama Luther and looks as though he wouldn't have any problem going a few rounds with the former heavyweight.
The pair attended a Superdry launch in central London on Thursday and Elba was pictured pretending to land a punch on Haye's chin.
Haye confirmed earlier this week that he would end his three-and-a-half year hiatus from the ring when he takes on little known Australian Mark de Mori at the O2 on January 16.
The 35-year-old believes the bout will be the first step on the route back to regaining the heavyweight title he held between 2009 and 2011.
