Bayern Munich currently has a deadly attacking unit that can cause problems for any defense in Europe. The personnel in all attacking positions have the ability to create something out of nothing due to immense technical skills. Die Roten added depth to attack, especially wide positions last summer, but they might need another player this summer.

Noni Madueke is the latest wide player that is being linked to Rekordmeister. According to Evening Standard, Bayern Munich is one of the multiple clubs in Europe that have an interest in young English forward and have started putting feelers regarding a transfer.

The 19-year-old winger has enjoyed a prolific league campaign with PSV Eindhoven until now. Madueke’s best position is on the right flank as he is able to cut inside on his favoured left foot. The Dutch club has used him on both flanks and even as a center forward this season.

Madueke has managed to get nine goals and six assists in 25 appearances for PSV across all competitions. The most impressive aspect of these numbers is that 60 percent of his appearances this season have been from the bench. After leaving Tottenham Hotspurs in 2018, Madueke has steadily progressed at PSV Eindhoven. His numbers are going to get better in Eredivisie with more playing time. The teenager will have to make the right decision about his immediate future to continue his development as a prolific wide player.

Die Roten currently has options in wide areas. On Monday, Goal revealed that Rekordmeister will not be signing Douglas Costa permanently from Juventus. The German club will not even try to extend the loan deal. With Costa parting ways, there is a vacancy in the first-team squad.

This vacancy can be filled by Madueke. If he plans to play regularly next season, then moving to Bavaria will not be the best option. At Die Roten, he would have the role of coming off the bench as of now and start in few cup games. Considering the growth of Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, there is no doubt that player of Madueke’s talent can also succeed in Bavaria.
