InactiveLiverpool return to Champions League action on Tuesday in their semifinal first-leg against Roma.
Roma have already played in England in the UCL this season. The Italians drew 3-3 at Chelsea back in the group phase.
Heading into the first leg, there appears to be no doubt about how the two sides will line-up.
The likes of the Times and the Daily Mail have both produced their predicted line-ups for the Liverpool v Roma match.
Starting with the Reds, Jurgen Klopp is set to field his strongest side.
Mo Salah, fresh from picking up his PFA player of the year award, will occupy his usual right-hand slot. Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will complete the thrilling Liverpool attack.
In midfield there’s a spot for James Milner. Gini Wijnaldum misses out, while Emre Can is injured.
At the back there’s no surprises too. Andrew Robertson will play at left-back, with Virgil Van Dijk marshalling the defence.
Roma’s 3-4-2-1 formation
Eusebio Di Francesco isn’t expected to make any surprise calls to his XI At Anfield either.
Roma will be spearheaded by former Man City striker Edin Dzeko, who will be supported by Turkish forward Cengiz Under.
Across the Giallorossi midfield, Radja Nainggolan and Kevin Strootman will both be asked to play box-to-box roles in the middle of the pitch.
Daniele De Rossi should offer protection to the Roman backline in a defensive midfield role. Roma’s width will be provided by Aleksandar Kolarov and Alessandro Florenzi.
At the back, former Spurs defender Fazio will form part of Roma’s 3-man backline.
Brazilian international stopper Alisson – a rumoured Liverpool target – will start in goal for the Italians.
