Real Madrid forward, Karim Benzema has reacted to the departure of Sergio Ramos from Los Blancos.
The LaLiga giants confirmed during the week that their captain is leaving the club.
The Spanish giants also announced a press conference will be held on Thursday (today), to bid farewell to the veteran defender.
The Spain international’s contract expires at the end of June and there have been reports Real Madrid were willing to give him an extension if he accepted a pay cut.
But the 35-year-old, who has spent 16 years at the club, has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
“More than a Capitán, my friend, my brother thanks for all the moments we spent together on the road of success for the @realmadrid Wish you all the best legend @SergioRamos,” Benzema tweeted on Thursday.
